Hello Amy Beverland Families!
If you haven't already heard the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th grade students took time to learn how to juggle scarves! Many of your children were able to master three scarves in the air at one time!! Have them show you with scarves you may have at home or use plastic shopping bags. This activity is a good to use as a "brain break" or when it's time to refocus!! First grade used scarves to explore each person's personal space!
All P.E. classes are working on dribbling a ball with their feet and then playing a game. 4th, 5th and 6th have played 3 on 3 soccer outside and have recently taken play to a higher level with larger fields and more people on a team.
RESPECT is a big focus in all P.E. classes as we learn to accept each others differences no matter what the activity. When we show respect, reach out with kindness, then everyone is learning how to "get along!"
ATTENTION ALL FOURTH GRADE FAMILIES!! 4th grade students are taking home today a flyer about the first ever ABE Jump Rope Club! Permission slips are due tomorrow, Wednesday, August 27. Limit 25 students.
That's all for now!! Keep moving, eat healthy and get plenty of sleep!! MRS. VERBARG
